PENGARUH INTENSITAS MENONTON TELEVISI TERHADAP MINAT BELAJAR SISWA SD NEGERI 101797 DELI TUA 2020/2021

Abstrak

The problem in this study is that the intensity of watching television results in low student interest in learning. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the intensity of watching television on students' interest in learning at SD Negeri 101797 Deli Tua. The type of research used is Ex Post Facto Quantitative Correlative. The population in this study were all students of SD Negeri 101797 Deli Tua with a total of 348 students. Sampling technique with Stratified Random Sampling. The data collection technique used a questionnaire as many as 19 items for the intensity of watching television and 18 items for students' interest in learning. The questionnaire was declared reliable with Cronbach's Alpha 0.763. The data analysis technique used is normality test, linearity, simple linear regression analysis and to test the hypothesis by T test. The results of data analysis show that the simple linear regression equation in this study is Y = 37.006 + 0.309X. In addition, the determination of the value of R square is 0.091 or 9.1%. Based on the data analysis, it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant influence between the intensity of watching television on the students' interest in learning at SD Negeri 101797 Deli Tua.
