Abstrak

This study was conducted with the aim of knowing the effect of student learning outcomes in science learning style material using the Mind Map learning strategy with Conventional Learning in class IV SD Negeri 104192 Tandam Hilir II Hamparan Perak District for the Academic Year 2021/2022.The location of this research was carried out at SD Negeri 104192 Tandam Hilir II Hamparan Perak District on April 4-13, 2022 as the subjects were students in grades IV-A and IV-B with 28 students in class IV-A and class IV-B there 24 people. This type of research is a quasi-experimental with an essay test instrument as many as 5 questions that have been validated by the validator. Before doing learning the average result of the initial test for class IV-A is 63.25 and the average learning outcome for class IV-B is 65.33.After the learning was carried out in class IV-A using the Mind Map learning strategy and after the final test the students got an average of 76.13 while the learning outcomes in class IV-B using conventional learning got an average of 68.04. Bigger than.Based on the calculation of hypothesis testing with two-factor independent test, students who were taught with Mind Map strategy and students who were taught with Conventional Learning obtained the results obtained Xcount (X2) = 10.94 > Xtable = 9.49. So the value of Xcount is greater than Xtable .
