STUDI KESIAPAN SOFT SKILLS MAHASISWA UNIVERSITAS QUALITY MENUJU MERDEKA BELAJAR KAMPUS MERDEKA (MBKM)

Abstrak

The background of the problem in this research is the need for accurate information about the readiness of students' Soft Skills in facing Merdeka Learning, Merdeka Campus. The purpose of this study was to determine the readiness of the Quality University students' soft skills towards Merdeka Learning, Merdeka Campus.

This research was conducted on Quality University students in April 2022, by filling out a student Soft Skills readiness questionnaire. The population in this study were all 4th semester students, Quality University Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program (PGSD), with a sample of 44 people. Sampling was done by means of purposive sampling.

The results showed that the ability of students to communicate with individuals with different backgrounds was 64%, the ability to use technology during presentations was 66%, the ability to transmit communication skills to others was 75%, the ability to think broadly was 70%, , Ability to draw conclusions based on valid evidence 59%, Ability to accept and give full responsibility 66%, Ability to understand people and accommodate to a diverse work environment 70%, My ability to contribute to planning and coordinating group work 75% , take responsibility for group decisions 75%, Ability to develop a desire to investigate and seek knowledge 80%, My ability to practice ethical behavior 77%, and Ability to understand and be an alternative leader and follower 75%.

The conclusion shows that the readiness of Quality University students' Soft Skills in facing the Independent Learning Campus is in the GOOD category.
