Abstrak

Abstract

South Nias is one of the tourist areas that has decent potential to be developed. Various cultural and tourist attractions can be found in this area, such as the cultural attraction that characterizes Nias, namely the Batu Lompat which is located in Bawomataluo Village. In addition, the South Nias area is also famous for its number of marine tourism which has a view that attracts many tourists to visit. Sorake Beach and Lagundri Beach are beaches that have views and special attractions for tourists so that many tourists visit both beaches. As a potential tourist attraction, regions must be able to take advantage of the tourism sector in their area by building the tourism sector to generate profits for the region and the community in the tourist area. The purpose of this research is to analyze the contribution of Lagundri Beach and Sorake Beach tourism in improving the family economy in Teluk Dalam District, South Nias, North Sumatra.The research method used is descriptive research method with a qualitative approach, namely research that focuses on actual problems and describes various facts with accurate interpretations. Data collection techniques used are primary data collection techniques in the form of observations, interviews, and questionnaires as well as secondary data collection techniques using library research and documentation. The results of this study show that the strategies implemented in the development of the tourism sector in South Nias, namely in Lagundri Beach and Sorake Beach, have not been implemented well enough, so there are still many shortcomings that have an impact on the family economy.Kontribusi Wisata
