This research aims to determine the validity and practicality of magnetic board mind mapping media mathematics subject matter recognizing shapes room in class 1C SDN 101830 Tj. Selamat. This research is Research and DevelopmentĀ using Richey and Klein development model consist of three stages namely planning, production, and evaluation. The validators in this research are media experts, material experts, class 1C students. The research instrumentused was a sheet validation and questionnaire. The research results show that the validation results of the material validator obtained a score of 92,5% and was declared very valid and validator the media obtained a value of 87,5% which was declared very valid. The results of the questionnaire given to teacher obtained a score of 80% in the practical category meanwhile, from the student response questionnaire a score 89,8% was obtained very practical category, result of questionnaire responses magnetic board mind mapping media teacher and students is more practical than without magnetic board mind mapping media.therefore it can be concluded that mind mapping media magnetic board in mathematics subjects in class 1C SDN 101830 Tj. Selamat are very valid for using during the learning process
