Abstrak

The type of research used in this research is a quantitative research method, namely to analyze the influence of work discipline on employee performance at Quality Universities. Sugiyono (2015: 14) suggests that quantitative research methods can be interpreted as research methods that are based on the philosophy of positivism, used to research certain populations or samples, sampling techniques are generally carried out randomly, data collection uses research instruments, data analysis is quantitative. / statistics, with the aim of testing predetermined hypotheses. The aim of research is to obtain data, so data collection techniques are the most vital step in research. Researchers conducting research will not get the desired data if they do not know the techniques for collecting data. The data collection technique in this research uses sampling techniques. The sampling technique according to Sugiyono, (2016:81) "is a sampling technique to determine the sample to be used". Specifically, the sampling technique used is simple random sampling. The sampling technique using simple random sampling is a sampling technique that gives every member in a population an equal opportunity to be sampled
