Abstrak

This research analyzes the Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) learning method which is able to improve student learning outcomes. The learning process should be fun for students so that students' learning outcomes and learning motivation can increase. However, in the learning process in general teachers more often apply conventional learning models so that students become bored and less enthusiastic because there is no variation in learning activities. Thus, there is a need for appropriate learning methods to stimulate student activity and improve student learning outcomes. One method that can be used to overcome this problem is the Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) learning method. Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) is a learning method that divides students into several groups, and is an appropriate cooperative learning method to activate students during learning. The purpose of this research is to determine whether the Two Stay Two Stray cooperative learning method can help students improve learning outcomes. This research instrument uses a test with quantitative research type Quasy Experimental Research. The subjects of this research were class V students at SDN 043947 Barus Julu with a total of 46 students. The research sample was class V-A with 24 students as an experimental class using the two stay two stray learning method, and class V-B as a control class using a conventional learning model.
