MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN MENULIS PUISI MELALUI MEDIA AUDIOVISUAL DI KELAS V SDN BOJONG 03 KECAMATAN TENJO

Poetry writing skills are very important for elementary school students to master, because it is one of the learning outcomes that have been determined in the current independent curriculum, namely in phase C. This study aims to describe the improvement of the process and learning outcomes of writing poetry through audiovisual media. This type of research is a classroom action research consisting of two cycles, each cycle is conducted in two meetings. Data analysis techniques were descriptive quantitative and qualitative. The subjects of this research were teachers and fifth grade students of SDN Bojong 03, Tenjo District, Bogor Regency with a total of 24 students. Based on the results of the study, it was found that there was an increase in student learning outcomes from each cycle, cycle I the average student score was 65.5 while in cycle II the average student score was 82.5 with a predetermined learning achievement standard of 70. Based on these results, the use of audivisual media can improve student learning outcomes in poetry writing skills.
