PENGARUH SPEED READING TERHADAP PEMAHAMAN ISI BACAAN PADA SISWA KELAS V SD NEGERI 064030 MEDAN T.P 2023/2024

This research aims to determine the effect of speed reading on understanding reading content in class V students at SD Negeri 064030 Medan. The method used in this research is Quasi Experiment with a pretest and post test research design. This research was carried out at SDN 064030 Medan for the 2023/2024 academic year. The population of this research is the entire number of class V students, totaling 31 students. The sample for this research is class V as an experimental class with a total of 31 students. The results of the analysis on the total value of learning outcomes obtained a significant value, this can be seen from the average pretest score of 65 and the average posttest score of students, namely 74,23. So the result of the Tcount value = 5.722 and the Ttable value = 3.622 because Tcount > Ttable means it can be concluded that there is a significant influence of the use of speed reading on the understanding of reading content in class V students at SD Negeri 064030 Medan for the 2023/2024 academic year
