Abstrak

The goal is (1); To find out the learning outcomes of students who were taught without using Powerpoint media, Science Subjects, Hot Material and Its Transfer, on the learning outcomes of class V students at SD Negeri 064025, Medan Tuntungan District, T.P 2023/2024, (2); to find out the learning outcomes of students who were taught using Powerpoint media in Science Subjects, Hot Material and Its Transfer, on the learning outcomes of class V students at State Elementary School 064025, Medan Tuntungan District, T.P 2023/2024, (3); to find out whether there is a significant influence using Powerpoint media on student learning outcomes in science subject matter Heat and Displacement of Class V State Elementary School 064025 Medan Tuntungan District T.P 2023/2024. The problem experienced at this school is that student learning outcomes in science subjects are still relatively low. The sample of class V students is 2 classes 23 people for the experimental class and 21 people for the control class. The type of research is Quasi-experimental with the research instrument being a multiple choice test with 10 questions. Based on the calculation results, the average final test for students in the control class was 60 and in the comparison class was 73. The frequency table of the final test results for the experimental and control classes was divided into tables of absolute frequency and relative frequency, then represented in the form of a histogram to determine student learning outcomes. after studying in experimental classes with Powerpoint Media and. Based on the results of the t test which produces t_count > t_table 2.132 > 2.018 with a significance level of 0.05 which shows that H_a is accepted and H_0 is rejected, it can be concluded that the use of Powerpoint Media has a significant influence.
