PENINGKATKAN AKTIVITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA DALAM PEMBELAJARAN PPKn DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE EKSPERIMEN

Abstrak

The low activity of students in learning civic major problem in SMPN 33 Medan. The purpose of this study, namely (1) Increasing physical activity of students in learning by using the experimental method in civic teaching. (2) Improve the mental activity of students in learning by using the experimental method in civic teaching. (3) Enhance the emotional activity of students in learning by using the experimental method in civic teaching. The method used in this research is descriptive method. This research forms, namely action research. Subjects in this study are all fifth grade students of Junior High School Medan, amounting to 15 students consisting of 8 boys and 7 girls. In addition to students, teachers implementing learning is also part of the research subjects. The results are (1) The use of experimental methods to increase students' physical activity, there is an average increase of 11.76%. (2) The use of experimental methods to improve students' mental activity of students, there is an increase of 26.67%. (3) The use of the experimental method can increase the emotional activity of students, there is an average increase of 20%.
