Abstrak

The aim of this study is to evaluate the learning outcomes of students taught through the project-based learning model as compared to those who received instruction without it, as well as to assess the impact of the project-based learning approach. This research was conducted at SD Negeri 101808 during the 2024/2025 academic year, focusing on students in classes III-A and III-B, comprising 26 students in III-A and 22 in III-B. Utilizing a quasi-experimental research design, the study employed a multiple-choice test as the primary data collection tool. Data analysis and hypothesis testing revealed that students taught with the project-based learning model, specifically on the topic of energy sources in class III-A, achieved an average score of 76. 73. In contrast, students in class III-B, who were instructed without the project-based learning model, obtained a lower average score of 64. 09. The findings indicate a significant positive effect of the project-based learning model on students' learning outcomes in the subject of science, particularly regarding energy sources, for class III at SD Negeri 101808 during the 2024/2025 academic year.
