PENGARUH LINGKUNGAN KERJA TERHADAP DISIPLIN KERJA PEGAWAI HARIAN LEPAS (PHL) DINAS PEMADAM KEBAKARAN DAN PENYELAMATAN KOTA MEDAN

Abstrak

This study aims to analyze the influence of the work environment on the work discipline of Daily Freelance Employees (PHL) at the Medan City Fire and Rescue Service. An inadequate work environment, such as the condition of rest rooms that do not meet health and safety standards, as well as a lack of access to adequate training and equipment, is suspected of having a negative impact on the work discipline of PHL. The research method used is quantitative with a survey approach. Data was collected through questionnaires distributed to 114 respondents from a total population of 167 PHL, using the Isaac and Michael formula for sample determination. The research results show that there is a positive and significant relationship between the work environment and the work discipline of PHL. Regression analysis shows that improving the work environment can improve the work discipline of PHL.
