This study aims to determine the effect of the Discovery Learning model on students' learning outcomes in the material of constructing paragraphs in the Indonesian language subject for class IV at SDN 101854 Sei Mencirim T.A 2024/2025. This study uses a quantitative research method with a quasi-experimental research type. The research design chosen is a pretest-posttest control group design. Based on the pretest results, both classes had the same initial ability, so the researcher selected class IVA as the experimental class and class IVB as the control class. Class IVA, as the experimental class, received treatment in the form of learning using the Discovery Learning model in the Indonesian language subject for the topic of constructing paragraphs. Meanwhile, class IVB, as the control class, received treatment in the form of learning without using the Discovery Learning model in the same topic, which is constructing paragraphs. After both classes received the treatment, a posttest was conducted to measure students' final abilities. The posttest results showed that the learning outcomes of class IV students at SDN 101854 Sei Mencirim who received instruction using the Discovery Learning model were higher than those of students who received instruction without using the Discovery Learning model. Based on hypothesis testing using the t-test, it was found that tcount = t Stat = 3.097 and ttable = t Critical two-tail = 2.001, so tcount > ttable or 3.097 > 2.001. Thus, H0 is rejected, and Ha is accepted, meaning there is a significant effect of using the Discovery Learning model on students' learning outcomes in the Indonesian language subject for the topic of constructing paragraphs in class IV at SDN 101854 Sei Mencirim T.A 2024/2025.
