Abstrak

This research seeks to evaluate student learning outcomes in Civics, specifically focusing on the Norms in My Life material, before and after the implementation of the Fun Thinkers Book learning media. Additionally, the study aims to assess whether there is a significant impact of using this learning media on student performance in Civics. Conducted at SD RK Negara in the District of STM Hilir during the 2024/2025 school year, the research involved a population of 24 fifth-grade students, who also formed the sample for the study. The research utilized a Pre-Experimental design with a One Group Pretest-Posttest format. Data collection was done through an essay test. From the analysis, the average pretest score for student learning outcomes before the use of the Fun Thinkers Book media was found to be 59. 58. After using the media, the average posttest score rose significantly to 87. 08. The findings demonstrate a notable positive effect of the Fun Thinkers Book on student learning outcomes in the Civics subject, specifically regarding the Norms in My Life material for the fifth-grade students at SD RK Negara during the 2024/2025 academic year.
