STUDI KESULITAN BELAJAR SISWA SD ADVENT 6 MEDAN DALAM BELAJAR IPA

Abstrak

This study aims to reveal the learning difficulties experienced by students and find out the factors that cause students to experience learning difficulties in elementary science. The research was conducted at SD Advent 6 Medan with 30 students as research subjects. Data were collected by means of tests and interviews. The test is used to analyze students' difficulties in solving problems. Interviews are used to determine the factors that cause student learning difficulties. The analytical method used is qualitative data analysis. The difficulty of fifth graders at SD Advent 6 Medan in learning science is seen from the students' ability to answer 20 multiple choice questions. Of the 20 questions, there are 80% (16 questions) in the easy category, and 20% (4 questions) in the quite difficult category. From 30 students, 18 students passed the KKM and 12 students did not pass the KKM. Factors causing the difficulties of fifth grade students of SD Private Adventist 6 Medan in learning science are caused by several factors such as; Internal factors are activity and lack of interest in learning. Internal factors such as: lack of influence of parents, less conducive class and teachers who have not used teaching models and media that make students bored and less enthusiastic in learning in class.
