This research is motivated by the low percentage of learning outcomes in Science and Social Studies (IPAS) among third-grade students at SD Negeri 060934 Kwala Bekala. Only 35% of students achieved classical mastery, while 65% did not meet the Minimum Learning Mastery Criteria (KKTP). One of the contributing factors to this issue is the lack of appropriate and varied learning models, which affects students' academic achievement. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the effect of the Discovery Learning model on the learning outcomes of third-grade students. This study employs a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental design, specifically a pretest and posttest control group design. The research subjects were all 29 students of classes IIIA and IIIB at UPT SD Negeri Kwala Bekala. Class IIIA served as the experimental group, receiving treatment using the Discovery Learning model, while class IIIB served as the control group using conventional learning methods. The results showed that the average pretest score for class IIIA was 4.3, while class IIIB scored 44.2. After treatment, the posttest scores increased to 9.30 for class IIIA and 70.36 for class IIIB. Hypothesis testing using the t-test yielded Tcount=6.735>Ttable=2.052T_{count} = 6.735 > T_{table} = 2.052Tcount=6.735>Ttable=2.052, indicating that H0H_0H0 was rejected and HaH_aHa was accepted. Thus, there is a significant effect of the Discovery Learning model on the learning outcomes of third-grade students at UPT SD Negeri Kwala Bekala.
