This research aims to identify and analyze the extent to which communication and the work environment influence employee performance at the Medan City Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu). Effective communication in an organization plays a crucial role in ensuring that each employee can carry out their duties and responsibilities well, while a comfortable working environment contributes to employee motivation, productivity and well-being. In this research, the data collection techniques used include in-depth interviews with Bawaslu employees, direct observation of work dynamics within the Bawaslu environment, as well as analysis of various documentation related to the policies and work systems implemented. The research results show that effective communication, both in internal and external aspects, has a positive impact on work coordination, task distribution, and solving problems that occur within the Bawaslu environment. In addition, a comfortable and supportive work environment, both in terms of physical facilities and social relations between employees, has been proven to have a significant contribution to improving employee performance. Employees who feel comfortable with their work environment tend to be more productive, more motivated, and contribute more to achieving organizational goals. This research also emphasizes that to increase employee work effectiveness, improvement efforts are needed in the communication aspect, including the implementation of a more open, transparent and systematic communication system. Apart from that, improving the quality of the work environment, both in terms of facilities, work atmosphere and teamwork, also needs to be considered in order to create a conducive environment for employees to carry out their duties optimally. Therefore, this research provides recommendations for the Medan City Bawaslu to continue to evaluate and develop communication aspects and provide better work facilities in order to increase the productivity and effectiveness of the organization as a whole.
