Abstrak

This research aims to analyze the influence of the jigsaw type cooperative learning model on the Civics learning outcomes of class IV students at SD Negeri 064025 Plamboyan Raya for the 2024/2025 academic year without using the jigsaw type cooperative learning model, compare it with learning abilities after implementing this learning model, and test the significant influence of implementing the jigsaw type cooperative learning model on student learning outcomes. The research was conducted on a population of class IVB and IVC students, each consisting of 25 students. The type of research used is quasi-experiment with data collection through essay tests. Based on the results of data analysis and hypothesis testing, it was found that the average score of students taught using the jigsaw type cooperative learning model reached 84.52, while students who studied using conventional methods only obtained an average score of 58.4. The results of this research show that there is a significant influence of the jigsaw type cooperative learning model on improving student learning outcomes, especially in the topic of mutual cooperation lifestyle. These findings strengthen the effectiveness of the jigsaw type cooperative learning model in significantly improving student learning outcomes compared to conventional learning methods, so it is recommended to be implemented in learning
