PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE NHT TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPAS DI KELAS V SDN 064033 MEDAN JOHOR T.P 2024/2025

This research seeks to investigate the impact of the Numbered Heads Together (NHT) cooperative learning model on student performance in Natural Sciences (IPA) for fifth-grade students at SDN 064033 Medan Johor during the 2024/2025 academic year. Employing a quasi-experimental approach, the study utilized a pre-test and post-test control design. The sample comprised two classes: Class VA served as the control group, while Class VB functioned as the experimental group, consisting of 28 and 30 students, respectively. Data was collected through initial and final assessments, which were subsequently analyzed for normality, homogeneity, and t-tests. The findings revealed that the average learning outcomes for students taught using the NHT model (80) surpassed those of the control group, which followed conventional teaching methods (73). The results of the t-test indicated a t-value of 4. 24, exceeding the t-table value of 2. 00, demonstrating that the NHT cooperative learning model significantly influences students' science learning outcomes. Therefore, implementing the NHT model effectively enhances student achievement, particularly in the field of science education.
