ANALISIS EFIKASI DIRI PADA PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS IV SD DHARMA WANITA JL. MELATI NO.30 SEMPAKATA, KECAMATAN MEDAN SELAYANG TAHUN AJARAN 2021/2022

Abstrak

The aims of this research are to; 1) Knowing the description of the magnitude dimensions of students in learning mathematics at the Dharma Wanita Private Elementary School. 2) Knowing the generality dimensions of students in learning mathematics at Dharma Wanita Private Elementary School. 3) Knowing the description of the dimensions of the student's strength in learning mathematics at the Dharma Wanita Private Elementary School.

This type of research is a descriptive qualitative research type. There are two sources of data used in this study, namely, primary data and secondary data. In this study, researchers used 2 data collection techniques, namely questionnaires and interviews.

The results showed that: 1) Students' self-efficacy in learning mathematics on the magnitude dimension at SD Swasta Dharma Wanita was in the high category with an average percentage of 71%. This shows that when students are faced with math problems with different levels of difficulty, they do not only complete tasks that have a low or easy level of difficulty and avoid tasks that have a high level of difficulty. However, they will continue to try to solve all the problems they face. 2) Students' self-efficacy in learning mathematics on the generality dimension at SD Swasta Dharma Wanita is in the high category with an average percentage index of 72%. This shows that they have great confidence in themselves that they are able to solve the various problems they face. 3) Students' self-efficacy in learning mathematics on the strength dimension at SD Swasta Dharma Wanita is also in the high category with an average percentage index of 70%. This shows that students have strong beliefs and expectations of their ability to solve a problem. This strong belief will encourage them to continue to achieve their goals even though they have had unpleasant experiences before.
