Abstrak

The high number of educated unemployment in Indonesia makes it a serious problem and it is feared that it will continue to increase every year. Based on BPS data (2020), the educated unemployment rate reaches 64% of the number of unemployed in Indonesia. Merdeka Learning Merdeka Campus is one of the programs of Nadiem Makarim as the Minister of Education and Culture. This program is a program whose activities provide opportunities for students to study off-campus for a maximum of three semesters with various programs in it. Learning through the Merdeka Learning Campus Merdeka (MBKM) program is able to provide new challenges and opportunities for students in order to develop their innovations and skills so as to be able to encourage independent investigation and exploration of knowledge into local realities and dynamics (for example skill requirements, limits of truth, social, interpersonal relations). Self-management, performance requirements, goals and competencies. This study uses a qualitative approach based on a review of the literature and other online sources. An independent university policy can support academic program efforts to equip graduates with soft skills, hard skills, and extracurricular experiences to compete in the world of work. Merdeka Learning Merdeka Campus (MBKM) is a definite new program from the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia at the higher education level. The implementation of the MBKM program certainly has many obstacles. This is because if there is a new program, it will definitely take time to adjust to the program and it is certain that it will be difficult to change previously ingrained habits.
