KETERTARIKAN SERANGGA PADA TANAMAN REFUGIA DI PERKEBUNAN KELAPA SAWIT

Abstrak

Various types of plants that grow in an area known as refugia can function as a shelter and shelter for insects as well as a source of food for natural enemies such as predators and parasitoids. The morphological and physiological characters of various flowers can attract the presence of insects to come closer and utilize nectar and pollen as a source of food and fitness for insects. The purpose of this study was to see the interest of insects to the type of refugia planted on the outskirts of oil palm plantations. By using a quantitative descriptive method with direct observation and catching insects that can use insect nets. The results showed that there were different types of insects that came to each refugia such as Clataria sp, Antigonon sp, Turner asp, Cassia tora
