Abstrak

This research was conducted with the aim of knowing students' cognitive learning outcomes using the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning model assisted by picture card media in the science subject matter of style in class IV SD Negeri 106817 Sidodadi Academic Year 2022/2023, knowing students' cognitive learning outcomes by using the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning model without the aid of picture card media in the natural science subject style material in class IV SD Negeri 106817 Sidodadi in the 2022/2023 academic year and knowing that there is a significant effect of using the assisted Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning model picture card media on students' cognitive learning outcomes in the science subject, style material in class IV SD Negeri 106817 Sidodadi, academic year 2022/2023. The location of this research was carried out at SD Negeri 106817 Sidodadi from 27 to 30 March 2023 as the subject of class IV A students totaling 20 students and class IV-B totaling 22 students. This type of research is quasi-experimental with the research instrument, which is a validated essay test. Before learning was carried out the average initial test for class IV-A = 37.75 and class IV-B = 34.09. After learning was carried out in class IV-A using the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning model assisted by picture card media and class IV-B using the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning model without the aid of picture card media, the average final test was obtained. class IV-A = 82.5 and class IV-B = 72.72. Based on hypothesis testing using an independent test between the two factors chi square results with a significant level of α = 0.05 obtained X_(count )^2= 6.98 > X_(table (0.095)(2))^2 = 5.99. Based on testing the hypothesis, it was concluded that the use of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning model assisted by picture card media had a significant effect on students' cognitive learning outcomes in the natural sciences subject matter of style in class IV SD Negeri 106817 Sidodadi Academic Year 2022/2023 so that the hypothesis was accepted.
