PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN RODA PUTAR (ROTAR) PADA MATA PELAJARAN IPA KELAS V SD NEGERI 067246 MEDAN TAHUN PELAJARAN 2022/2023

Abstrak

The purpose of this study was to determine the level of validity of the development of rotary wheel learning media and to find out the practicality of rotary wheel learning media in the Natural Sciences subject on Ecosystem class V SD Negeri 067246 Medan in the 2022/2023 academic year. This type of research is development research (research and development/R&D) with the ADDIE model. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. Observation aims to collect initial data about the learning process by using existing learning media in schools and interviews as a reference regarding needs analysis and material considerations in seeing the practicality of the products made. The results of the study show the validity of the rotary wheel learning media seen from the overall results of the material validator and media validator which are included in the criteria of "very valid" and can be used without improvement. As well as practicality, it can be seen through the teacher's assessment of class V SD and the response questionnaire from class V SD students with very practical criteria and can be used without improvement. This research can be concluded as follows: rotary wheel learning media is stated to be very valid and very practical to use for natural science learning on ecosystem material. As for the overall results of the media validator and material validator with a value of 86.25% and the overall results of the assessment of class teachers and students of class V SD with a value of 88.24%. For this reason, it is suggested in this study, that the rotary wheel learning media can be used as one of the media that is applied in the learning process.
