Abstrak

This research was conducted with the aim of knowing differences in learning outcomes using the Problem Based Learning Model and the Picture and Picture Learning Model in

science lessons in elementary schools. AMAL SHALEH Medan City. The population in this study consisted of 25 people in the experimental class and 22 people in the control class. The research instrument is a test of learning outcomes. Base on this researches, it is known that the learning outcomes test obtained the average value of the two classes, namely tcount= 0,783 . Furthermore, tcount is compared with ttable = error level with ▭a = 0.05. So based on the results of the interpolation, the price ttable = 1.96 with the degrees of freedom (dk) = (n1+n2- 2)=(25+22-2)=45. So that the value of tcount <ttable or 0.783 <1.96 in the event that HO is accepted and H1 is rejected. Thus no significant difference was found between the Problem Based Learning Model and the Picture and Picture Learning Model on learning outcomes
