Abstrak

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of student learning outcomes on science subjects by using the Talking Stick Cooperative Model Assisted by Styrofoam and Conventional learning on Style material for class IV SD Negeri 065015 Kec. Medan Tuntungan. The problem with the school is that the learning model used by teachers in learning science is still not varied. This type of research is quasi-experimental and the research instrument is a test. The results of the average final test score were obtained for class IVA 79, namely the experimental class using the Cooperative Model of the Talking Stick Assisted Styrofoam Type and class IVB 56, namely the control class. Tables of the frequency of final test scores for the experimental class and control class can be distributed in absolute frequency tables and relative frequencies then depicted in the form of a histogram to determine student learning outcomes after carrying out learning with the Styrofoam-Assisted Talking Stick Type Cooperative Model in the experimental class and conventional learning in the control class. Testing the hypothesis uses an independent test between the two factors with a significant level a = 0.05 and dk = (2-1)(3-1)=2 in the result that x2 (0.95)(2) = 5.99. From the results of hypothesis testing From the data it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of the use of the Talking Stick Type Cooperative Learning Model assisted by paper and styrofoam on the learning outcomes of natural science subject Gaya in class IV SD Negeri 065015 Kec. Medan Tuntungan for the 2022/2023 Academic Year.
