Abstrak

This study aims to determine student motivation and the influence of the make a match cooperative learning model in science subjects. This research is included in the type of survey research. The data collection tool uses a questionnaire on student learning motivation and observation sheets. Furthermore, the prerequisite test used is the validity test and reliability test. The data analysis used is the normality test, homogeneity test and hypothesis testing (t-test). According to the results of data analysis, in the class using the cooperative learning model, the average result of the student learning motivation questionnaire was 84.25 which was categorized as "Very High" student learning motivation & the average result of the observation sheet was 11.9 which was categorized as student learning motivation "High". Obtained the results of learning motivation in class Meanwhile in classes that do not use the cooperative learning model obtained an average result of the student learning motivation questionnaire which was 71.31 which was categorized as "High" student learning motivation & the average result of the observation sheet was 8, 2 which are categorized as "moderate" student learning motivation.
