PENGARUH METODE ROLE PLAYING ( BERMAIN PERAN) TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATA PELAJARAN IPS KELAS IV SEKOLAH DASAR

This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of the Role Playing Method on Student Learning Outcomes in Social Studies Subjects Class IV SD Negeri 067246 Medan Tuntungan Academic Year 2022/2023. The population in this study totaled 43 students, namely all fourth grade students at SD Negeri 067246 Medan Tuntungan for the 2022/2023 Academic Year. This type of quasi-experimental research with selection techniques, namely the total sample in class IVA as an experimental class and taught using the role playing method. Class IVB as a control class that is taught conventionally. The research data collection technique is a test of student learning outcomes in the form of an essay test. Data analysis used the prerequisite test (normality, homogeneity) and tested the hypothesis using the t test. Based on the results of data analysis, learning outcomes can be seen from , experimental class 82.00 and control 67.17. Post-test data with the experimental class Lilifors test obtained L0 = 0,1469 < L(0.05)(20) = 0.190 for a = 5% of the total 20 students, then H0 is accepted, so that the data on learning outcomes with the Role Playing Method ) is normally distributed. It can be continued with the hypothesis with the independent test formula between the two factors of learning outcomes data for classes taught by the Role Playing Method (role playing) and classes taught by Conventional, so that the results obtained are x2 = 13,87 > = 5,99 because x2 > x2 = 13.87 > = 5.99 then H0 is rejected H1 is accepted. So it can be stated that there is a significant effect of the use of the Role Playing Method on social studies learning outcomes on Social Issues in class IV SD Negeri 067246 Medan Tuntungan District in the 2022/2023 Academic Year.
