Abstrak

This research aims to determine the effect of Pop Up Book learning media on
student learning outcomes in Civics subjects in class IV SD Negeri 060934
Kwala Bekala. This research is a quasi-experimental research. The research
design used is Control Group Pretest-Posttest Design using 2 classes. The
variables of this study consist of independent variables, namely learning
media Pop Up Books and the dependent variable, namely student learning
outcomes. The population of this study was 221 students. the instrument used
in this study was a test. Data analysis in this study used the SPSS 22 program.
The results of this study indicate that there is a significant effect of the use of Pop
Up Book learning media on student learning outcomes in Civics subjects on
ethnic cultural diversity in North Sumatra in class IV SD Negeri 060934 Kwala
Bekala. This is shown by the results of calculating the average Pre-Test and
Post-Test, while the average obtained by students during the Pre-Test was 28.19.
These results state that it does not meet the minimum completeness criteria
(KKM). Whereas in the Post-Test activities using Pop Up Book learning
media, the paverage obtained was 86.22. So it can be concluded that the use
of Pop Up Book learning media has a significant effect on student learning
outcomes in Civics class IV SD Negeri Kwala Bekala Subdistrict Medan Johor
