Abstrak

The problem in this study is that learning is less interesting, students' lack of motivation in learning science in animal life cycle material and low student motivation.The research was conducted at SD Negeri 108306 Tanjung Garbus. T.A 2023/2023. The population consists of students in class IVA and students in class IVB with 21 students in class IVA and 22 students in class IVB. This type of research is Quasi Random Sampling (samples taken randomly) with the data collection tool used is a questionnaire. from data analysis and hypothesis: (1). The average value of students taught using the Group Investigation method was obtained on the animal life cycle material in class IV-A SD Negeri 108306 Tanjung Garbus. The average value obtained is 82,4. (2). Students' motivation to learn science taught using conventional learning models on animal life cycle material in class IV-A SD Negeri 108306 Tanjung Garbus obtained an average of 45,95. (3). There is a significant effect of using the Group Investigation method on students' motivation to learn science on animal life cycle material in class IV SD Negeri 108306 Tanjung Garbus Academic Year 2022/2023.
