PENGARUH KEPERCAYAAN DAN KEMUDAHAN TERHADAP KEPUTUSAN PEMBELIAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE PEMBAYARAN SHOPEE PAYLATER PADA MAHASISWA UNIVERSITAS QUALITY

Shopee paylater is a payment method using bailout funds from related application companies. This Shopee paylater offers loan products with a zero percent initial loan without a minimum transaction. But behind the convenience we are encouraged to understand the risks that might occur. In this case, it is interested in being researched which aims to determine the effect of Trust and Convenience on Purchase Decisions using the Shopee Paylater Payment Method for Quality University Students. The research model used by this researcher is the questionnaire method which is carried out systematically based on the research objectives. The population of this study is limited to students of the Faculty of Social and Law, namely 151 respondents, while the number of samples is 110 respondents from users of the shopee paylater payment method. Based on the results of research with multiple linear regression data analysis, classical assumption test, t test, f test and the coefficient of determination. For Trust (X1) it is 0.572 units, Convenience (X2) is 0.302 units and for the Purchase Decision variable it is -1.081. While the results of hypothesis testing based on the results of the t test for the influence of Trust (X1) are 6.515 while the value of t table with t = (a / 2 ; n - k - 1 ) = (0.05 / 2 ; 110 - 2 - 1 ) is 1.982 so t count (6.515) > t table (1.982) and Sig (0.00) < Alpha (0.05) thus Ho is rejected Ha is accepted so it is concluded that Trust (X1) has a significant effect on Purchase Decision (Y), and for the Ease variable (X2) obtained a t count value of 5.799 while the t table value with t = (a / 2 ; n – k – 1 ) = (0.005 / 2 ; 110 – 2 – 1 ) is 1.982 so t count (5.799) > t table (1.982) and Sig (0.001) < Alpha (0.05) thus Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted so it is concluded that Ease (X2) has a significant effect on Purchase Decision (Y). Based on the results of data analysis, the f count is 255.841, while the f table value is 3.08. Thus f count (255.841) > f table (3.08) and Sig (0.001) < Alpha (0.05), then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. So it can be concluded that Trust (X1), Convenience (X2) have a significant effect on Purchase Decision (Y). Based on the results of this study it was concluded that Trust and Convenience have a significant influence on Purchase Decisions using the Shopee Paylater Payment Method.
