The problem experienced at the school is the low student learning outcomes in the
Natural Sciences subject matter. The purpose of this study was conducted to
determine the effect of learning outcomes using the Contextual Teaching and
Learning Model in class V SDN 104238 in the 2022/2023 academic year. The
sample of class V students consisted of 2 classes consisting of 16 people in the
experimental class and 16 people in the control class. This type of research is
Quasi-Experimental research with the research instrument being a description test
of 5 questions.
Based on the results of the calculation of the average student final test, it was
obtained 85.62 in the experimental class and an average of 74.06 in the control
class. The frequency table of final test scores in the experimental and control
classes is distributed in absolute frequency tables and relative frequencies are then
described in the form of a histogram to determine student learning outcomes after
learning with the Contextual Teaching and Learning Model in the experimental
class and conventional for the control class.
Based on the results of the t test where t_(count)> t_(table ) 4.008 > 2.042 with a
significant level of 0.05 which states accept Ha and reject Ho, it can be concluded
that the use of the Contextual Teaching and Learning model has a significant effect
on science learning outcomes in class V SD Negeri 104238 Telaga Sari for the
Academic Year 2022/2023.
