Abstrak

This study aims to determine the effect of the Creative Problem Solving
(CPS) learning model on student learning outcomes in class IV Science subjects
at SD Negeri 104212, Patumbak District. This research is a quasi-experimental
research with a Non-Equivalent Control Group research design. In this study, two
classes were used, namely class IVA as the experimental class with the Creative
Problem Solving (CPS) model and class IVB as the control class with
conventional learning. Data collection instruments were in the form of pretest and
posttest questions. Data collection techniques in this study were carried out using

test techniques. Data were analyzed using normality test, homogeneity, hypothesis
testing. The results showed that there was an influence of the Creative Problem
Solving (CPS) learning model on science learning outcomes for students in the
experimental class and control class. This can be seen from tcount > ttable,
namely 5.675 > 5.991. In accordance with the criteria Ho is rejected and H1 is
accepted, from the results of the study it can be concluded that there is an
influence of the Creative Problem Solving (CPS) learning model on the science
learning outcomes of fourth grade students at SD Neger 104212.
