This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the effect of the
problem-based learning model with the help of media images in science subjects on
the learning outcomes of fourth grade students at SD Negeri 106817 Sidodadi T.P
2022/2023. The location of this research was carried out at SD Negeri 106817
Sidodadi on March 20-27 2023 with the subjects being 20 students in class IV-A
and 22 students in class IV-B. This type of research is quasi-experimental and the
research instrument is the essay test. Before carrying out learning the average test
results for class IV-A were 51.5 and class IV-B 50.68. After carrying out learning
in class IV-A using the problem-based learning model with the help of media images
and class IV-B using the problem-based learning model without the help of media
images, the average result of essay tests for class IV-A = 87,5 and IV-B = 77, Based
on the results of testing the hypothesis using an independent test between the two
factors chi square learning outcomes with a significant level α = 0.05 obtained

concluded that by using the problem based learning model with the help of media
images there is a significant influence on student learning outcomes in science
