PERBANDINGAN KEMAMPUAN MEMBACA SISWA ANTARA MEMBACADENGAN MEDIA ELEKTRONIK DAN MEDIA CETAK KELAS V DI SD METHODIST 1 MEDAN TP 2022/2023

Abstrak

This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the comparison of students' reading ability between reading using electronic media and print media for class V SD Methodist 1 Medan TP 2022/2023. The problem with this school is that students' reading ability using electronic media and print media is not optimal.  The population in the study were all Class V  students at SD Methodist 1 Medan T P 2022/2023, totaling 25 students divided into 2 parallel classes.  The number of experimental classes is 12 people and the control class is 13 people. This type of research is quasi-experimental and the instrument of this research is an essay test of 5 questions. Learning outcomes in class using printed media 61. Tables of the frequency of end-of-class test scores using electronic media and print media can be distributed in frequency tables and post-test results in the experimental class and control class are then depicted in the form of bar charts to determine students' reading abilities after being implemented  reading using electronic media in the experimental class and print media in the control class. Hypothesis testing using hypothetical tests with un-hypothesis tables From the results of hypothesis testing it can be concluded that there is a comparison of reading ability the same as using electronic media and print media in V SD Methodist Medan TP 2022/2023.
