Abstrak

This study aims to determine the effect of implementing ice breaking on
student learning outcomes in Indonesian language learning grade 5 at UPT SD
Negeri 064025 TP 2022/2023. The type of research used is quasi-experimental, the
sample is divided into 2 groups, namely the experimental group and the control
group. The research instrument used was the Essay Test and the results were tested

using the "t" statistic. The instrument used in this research is a student learning
achievement test in the form of a written test. The test plays a role in capturing
students' initial and final concepts before and after the learning is carried out. From
the calculation results, the Tcount value is 15.26, then the calculated price is
compared to the Ttable price with a significant level of 0.05, so Ttable 2.04 is
obtained, thus it can be seen that Tcount post test > Ttable per test, namely 15.26 >
2.02. Then the hypothesis Ho is rejected and the hypothesis Ha is accepted. This
proves that there is a significant influence on the use of the ice breaking learning
method on student learning outcomes in learning Indonesian listening material UPT
SD Negeri 064025 Jl. Flamboyant Raya for the 2022/2023 Academic Year
