Abstrak

Implementation of convict coaching in Correctional Institutions aims to
foster and also to return convicts to the right path. It is hoped that the deviant
behaviors they did before will not happen again and they can turn into well-behaved
members of society. The trick is to make them aware by instilling physical and
spiritual development. Thus the purpose of imprisonment is other than to cause
suffering because of loss of independence, also to guide convicts to repent and
return to being a good member of society. Coaching and mentoring inmates include
coaching and guidance programs in the form of activities personality development

and independence development activities. Coaching personality is directed at
mental and character development so that convicts become whole human being,
pious and responsible to oneself, family, and society.
