PENGARUH MODEL DISCOVERY LEARNING TERHADAP MINAT DAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA DENGAN BANTUAN DIAGRAM PERUBAHAN WUJUD BENDA PADA IPA KELAS IV SD NEGERI 048474 BATUMAMAK T.P 2022/2023

This study aims to find out how students' learning interests do without using the Discovery Learning model and using the discovery learning model, is there a significant effect of the discovery learning model on interest and learning outcomes in science subjects the subject of changes in the form of objects in class IV SD Negeri 048474 Batumamak Year Lesson 2022/2023.
The type of research used is quantitative research using quasi-experimental methods. In this study using test techniques in the form of pretest and posttest and questionnaires. The population of this research is all of class IV SD Negeri 048474 Batumamak, totaling 30 students. The experimental class is class IV-A with a total of 15 students, the control class is class IV-B with a total of 15 students. Data collection techniques with an essay test of 5 questions and a questionnaire of 20 questions. the results of the average pre-test score for class IV-A students was 49.2 and the average value for class IV-B was 41.3. After the two classes carried out different learning and the average value of the experimental class was 80.0 and the control class was 71.7. the results of the data analysis requirements test, namely normality and homogeneity of variance in both classes, can be continued with hypothesis testing using the T test formula. So that the final test data for class IV-A and class IV-B are obtained, namely T count 2.13 and T table 2.05.
Results and learning interests of IV-A students at SD Negeri 048474 Batumamak using the diagram-assisted discovery learning model obtained an average interest value of 69.9 and a result of 80.0, using conventional assisted diagrams obtained an average interest value of 60.8 and a result of 41, 3, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence of the discovery learning model on interest and learning outcomes in science subjects the subject of changes in the form of objects at SD Negeri 048474 Batumamak for the 2022/2023 academic year.
