PERAN IMPLEMENTASI MERDEKA BELAJAR DALAM MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN LITERASI PESERTA DIDIK

Abstrak

The purpose of this study was to find out the learning outcomes of students who This study aims to determine the important role of implementing independent learning which can improve literacy skills in students. The method used in this research is descriptive analysis by looking at the literature review from various sources that have been obtained and then conclusions are drawn analytically. The results of the research are in the form of concept descriptions that can build an understanding of literacy skills, in the form of strategies, steps, and methods of increasing students' literacy skills through learning that is carried out with an independent curriculum. The conclusions in the research describe approaches that can be used to improve student literacy including 1) optimizing the development of student abilities; ) use text according to AKM; 3) helping educators release responsibility to students; and 4) using material according to students' reading ability. Fostering a literacy culture in accordance with the independent curriculum through: 1) literacy-friendly physical environmental conditions; 2) seek social and affective environment; 3) Seeking school as a literate academic environment.
