The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of applying Make a Match and Take and Give learning models on the learning outcomes of science students by classifying animals based on food type. Class IV SD Negri 060930 Medan Johor. The studies used are quasi-experimental or quasi-experimental. The population in this study consisted of IV-A and IV-B. Class IV-A, with a total of 20 students, served as a control class using a make-a-match learning model, while Class IV-B, with a total of 22 students, served as a take-and-give class. A survey conducted showed an average peer class pre-test score of 37.45 and an average learning outcome of 75.85 students after learning with the Make-a-Match model, with a completion rate of 65% and a non-completion rate of 65%. % was. 35%. Students' learning outcomes in the lab class before the test averaged 40.63, while students' learning outcomes averaged 80.13 after implementing the Give-Take model, and students' learning outcomes were incomplete at 81.19. 18.81.
