This study aims to determine the effect of using learning modelsTalking
Stick on the learning outcomes of Civics Material Various Races in Indonesia. The
researchwas conducted at the Adventist 6 Private Elementary School, Clean Air.
The samples in this study were 16 students in class IV-A and 19 students in class
IV-B.This type of quasi-experimental research, the instrument used in this research
is thelearning achievement test. Before being given treatment first given pre-test

to both samples and obtained the average valuepre-test class IV-A and IV-B,
namely 48.75and 46.84. These data were analyzed and both classes had the same
initial abilities,thus class IV-A was determined as the experimental class and class
IV-B as the control class. After different treatments were given to the two classes,
the post-testscores for class IV-A = 81.25 and class V-B = 49.21. This mean value
was analyzed statistically and it was found that both classes were normally
distributed, so it was continued with hypothesis testing using the independent test
formula between the two factors, obtained = 18,904 > = 5,991. Thus it can be
concluded that there is a significant influence between the use of learning
modelsTalking Stick on student learning outcomes in civics subjects in class IV
SDS advent 6 Air Bersih Medan academic year 2022/2023.
