Abstrak

ABSTRACT
This study aims to determine the level of validity and practicality of developing
multimedia Power Point learning media for science subjects material properties of light
for class IV SD Negeri 060971 Medan Tuntungan. This type of research is development
or Research and Development with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development,
Implementation and Evaluation). The research was carried out at SD Negeri 060971
Medan Tuntungan. This research was conducted on March 27 2023 for 1 day in the
2022/2023 Academic Year. The subjects of this research were SD Negeri 060971
Medan Tuntungan class IV, which consisted of 30 students. The results showed that the
validity was seen from the whole validator in the form of a validation sheet with an
average value of 91% and included in the "very valid" category and practicality can be
seen from the teacher's response questionnaire to the PowerPoint multimedia learning
media showing the validation result was 97% and it was declared "very practical”. The
conclusion of this study is that the multimedia Power Point learning media developed is
stated to be valid and practical in its use in the learning process. For this reason, it is
recommended for teachers to use Power Point Multimedia media developed by
researchers to be used as a reference in the science learning process, especially the
material Properties of Light.
