PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN MEDIA GAMBAR TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPA SISWA KELAS IV SD NEGERI 056598 SIDOMUKTI T.P 2022/2023

Abstrak

Low student learning outcomes because students are passive in the learning process, teachers still use media without variation resulting in boredom in students, students are not enthusiastic about participating in the learning process, student learning outcomes are not yet maximal in science subjects because of low student attention in participating learning, and the learning media used in the delivery of material is monotonous resulting in students being less motivated to learn.Research at SD Negeri 056598 Sidomukti was conducted to find out the implementation of the use of media images in the natural science subject on light and its properties on the learning outcomes of class IV students at SD Negeri 056598 Sidomukti T.P 2022/2023. The type of research used in this research is quantitative research using quasi-experimental methods and pretest and posttest control group designs. The sample in this study were 52 students consisting of 28 students in class IV-A and 24 students in IV-B. The test used in this study is a test in the form of a description.Data analysis in this study used the data normality test, variance homogeneity test, and the independent test between the two factors. From the data analysis, it was obtained that the average result of the initial test of student learning outcomes for class IV-A was 64, after learning using media images and being given a final test, the average result of student learning outcomes for class IV-A was 77. And the average result the average initial test of student learning outcomes for class IV-B is 65, after learning without using media images is then given a final test, the average student learning outcomes is 70. Based on the calculation of the hypothesis test with an independent test between the two factors for class IV- A with media images and class IV-B without media images obtained Xcount (X2) = 25.84 and X table = 9.49 So the value of Xcount is greater than X table.From the results of the study it can be concluded that there is an effect of the use of media images in the science subject on the subject of light and its properties on the learning outcomes of class IV students at SD Negeri 056598 Sidomukti T.P 2022/2023.
