Abstrak

This research aims to analyze how much Effect transformational leadership has on the abilities of Medan City Fire and Rescue Service officers. The sample taken in this research was 61 DAMKAR troops, and then the data obtained was analyzed using simple regression analysis with validity test, reliability test, normality test, heteroscedasticity test, linearity test, partial test (t) and coefficient of determination test (R2) . The results of this research show that there is a positive and significant influence of transformational leadership style on troop capabilities with a regression value of (β) 0.252 (p < 0.05) p=0.002 and a contribution to capability with a value of (∆R2) 0.390 or 3.9%; there is a positive and significant influence of transformational leadership on ability and Y'=23,993 + 0.786 + e The calculated T value > T table where 3,257 > T table 2,001 is proven partially or by t test that the independent variable (X) has an effect on the dependent variable (Y)
