This research was conducted with the aim of finding out a description of students' narrative essay writing skills without using the Classroom Reading Program method and a description of students' narrative essay writing skills using the Classroom Reading Program method and to find out the effect of using the Classroom Reading Program method on students' narrative essay writing skills in the subject. Indonesian narrative essay material in class V of SD Negeri 060934 Medan T.P 2023/2024. The location of this research was carried out at SD Negeri 060934 Medan on January 25 to 26. The objects were 20 students in class V-A and 20 students in class V-B. This type of research is quasi-experimental. Before learning, the average initial test results for class V-A = 32, and class V-B = 31.7. After learning the average results for class V-B without using the Classroom Reading Program method and class V-A using the Classroom Reading Program method, the average results for class V-B = 57, and class V-A = 79.6. Based on the results of hypothesis testing using an independent test between two chi square factors, the results with a significance level of α = 0.05 obtained ????ℎ???????????????????? 2 = 26.56 > ????????????????????????(0.095)(4) 2 = 9.49. From hypothesis testing, it can be concluded that using the Classroom Reading Program method there is a significant influence on students' narrative essay writing skills in Indonesian language subjects in class V of SD Negeri 060934 Medan T.P 2023/2024.
