DAMPAK MEDIA SOSIAL YOUTUBE TERHADAP PRESTASI AKADEMIK MAHASISWA PRODI MANAJEMEN UNIVERSITAS QUALITY

Abstrak

The research carried out is a research on how the impact of Youtube social media in increasing the academic achievement of management study program students which aims to find out the extent to which social media has an effect in improving the academic achievement of each student and to find out how the significant impact of the use of Youtube social media on the academic achievement of University Quality Management Study Program students. This research was carried out at the Quality University at the Faculty of Social and Law Management Study Program which amounted to 250 students.the method used in this study was qualitative research method and the data collection tool used was the interview method. Based on the results of the research obtained, it can be seen that student interest in accessing Youtube is very high and the impact of using Youtube has not been significant in changing academic achievement, because students use Youtube more not to access educational or educational channels but entertainment channels.
