Abstrak

The aim of the research is to determine the effect of formal communication and work discipline on employee efficiency at PT Bank Sumut Tebing Tinggi Branch. The research method used is quantitative research. Researchers conducted a survey of all employees in accordance with the research objectives and collected primary data. The survey was conducted at PT Bank Sumut Tebing Tinggi Branch. The population and sample amounted to 52 employees. Data analysis used instrumental testing, classical hypothesis testing, multiple regression analysis, t test, F test, and coefficient of determination. The results of the analysis show that formal communication and social service discipline have a significant effect on employee performance, likewise formal communication has a significant effect on employee performance, and work discipline also has a significant effect on employee performance. The results of the research show that formal communication and work discipline have a positive and significant effect on the performance of employees of PT Bank Sumut Tebing Tinggi Branch.
