Abstrak

The aim of this research is to determine the effect of student learning outcomes in science subjects using the Jigsaw Model and Conventional learning on Surrounding Energy Sources material in class III of SD Quantum School. The problem with this school is the students' lack of interest in learning. This type of research is quasi-experimental and the research instrument is a test. The average final test score obtained by class IIIA was 78, namely the experimental class using the Jigsaw Model and class IIB 60, namely the control class. The frequency table of the final test scores for the experimental class and control class can be distributed in absolute frequency and relative frequency tables and then depicted in the form of a histogram to determine student learning outcomes after learning using the Jigsaw Model in the experimental class and conventional learning in the control class. Hypothesis testing uses independent tests between two factors with a significance level of a = 0.05. From the results of data hypothesis testing it can be concluded that there is a significant influence of the use of the Jigsaw Model on students' science learning outcomes regarding Energy Sources.
