This study aims to determine the description of the science learning outcomes of students taught using the Inquiry learning model using image media on animal type classification material, a description of the learning outcomes of students taught with the Inquiry learning model without using image media on animal type classification material and to determine the significant influence Inquiry learning model using image media on students' learning outcomes in animal type classification material for class V students at UPT SD 067246 Medan for the 2023/2024 academic year. The population in this study were all 46 class V students who were divided into 2 classes and also served as research samples. This research is a quasi-experimental research with a Pretest Posttest Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The data collection tool uses an essay test with 4 questions. Data analysis techniques use the t test and Chi Square test. The results of data analysis and hypothesis testing obtained (1) the ability of students' learning outcomes who were taught using the Inquiry learning model using image media on animal type classification material obtained an average of 9.4583 after using the inquiry learning model using image media on animal type classification material. average 75.1583 The learning outcomes taught using the Inquiry learning model without using image media on animal type classification material were 7.7727. After being taught using the inquiry learning model without using image media on animal type classification material, the average score was 59.05 for class V UPT SD 067246 students.
